EE0102 Power Distribution Protection System

Course Overview : 

This electrical power system protection training course is a must for industrial plants, power plants, and other industrial electrical personnel. 

This training course is designed to educate industrial, commercial, and institutional users about the main function and purpose of the power protection used in the electrical system.

Participants will have an excellent opportunity to ask specific questions and exchange ideas relating to their unique situations. This training is designed to be an interactive, problem-solving learning environment for participants of all disciplines.

Training Objectives:

At the end of the training, the participants will be able to understand the following:

• Classification, design, components, types, advantages and disadvantages, parameters and function of a protection devices
• The protection device's operation, maintenance, reliability, testing, regulations, and acts
• Safety protection, components, and devices used in power system protection

• 40% Theoretical (Classroom)
• 60% Case Study & Practical with CMC300 Omicron and Sample Relay (Classroom) 
• Classroom Simulation &  Exercise
• Discussion, experience sharing session
• Notes will be written in English
• The lecture will be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia/English
• Questions and answers (QA) session
